Former Physician Accused of Assault Allegations Against Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities have announced that a former doctor now faces charges for performing assaults involving thirty-eight individuals who were patients.
The Grave Charges
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous sexual offences – comprising some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 to 2021.
One senior prosecutor stated, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to support a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Investigation
The charges follow what investigators described as a “complex investigation” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the forty-five charges he is charged with:
- 15 counts of assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- 9 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- Three counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- 1 count of attempted penetrative assault.
