Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream

Following a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles offered in this deal.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
